The Tw-45 two-way radio telephone is designed for used in lifesaving operation to sea, and conforms to GMDSS requirements. When a ship is in distress, the radio telephone is used for two-way communication between the wrecked ship and it's lifeboat and another, and between the lifeboat and boats.
